We are lacing up our shoes and heading to Durham Forest to run some trail in a beautiful forest. Durham Forest is one hour from Toronto and located at the top of the Oak Ridges Moraine. This is 405 hectare area with an extensive trail network. It is a beautiful place to spend a summer morning running.

To us, hosting this event is about creating an environment that you can engage with in your own way. We're here to meet you where you are at. The trails are yours — if you are an experienced runner or are new to running.

We expect to have a set route with a pacer leading it.

This is a self-supported run so everyone can go at their own pace depending on their training schedule.

This is an inclusive space to meet new people, share stories and have fun! To us, there is no better place to get to know someone than the outdoors. We all share a desire to get out, explore and move.

To us, hosting this event is about creating an environment that you can engage with in your own way. This is your experience and everyone has their own relationship with the outdoors and their bodies.

While the focus of this event is running, feel free to come out for a hike as well!

We will depart Arc’teryx Yorkdale (Yorkdale Mall) at 8:30 am. Once we arrive at Durham Forest, we will have 2 hours to run, hike and explore.

• Water (lots - you can store extra water on the bus for when you are done; some water will also be provided)
• Lunch/Snacks (nut free please!)
• Camera
• Sunscreen//Sunhat
• Rain Coat
